The Technical Pro POWER1001 is a ABS molded 10" Two-Way Active Loudspeaker. The Power1001 pushes out 800 watts of peak power. If you are a sound designer, setting up a large venue indoors or outdoors, you need this. With that type of power you will have enough juice and then some to properly translate your music or audio to any large or small crowd. There is no need for an additional amplifier. It means the amplifier that fuels the drivers is built-in. If you are setting up and breaking down sound or plan to use this with your mobile rig, not having to connect an amplifier or a series of amplifiers for larger set ups is a life saver and a back saver. Located on the back panel are 1/4", XLR and MP3 inputs.
There is also an active speakon output that can be sent to a passive speaker. This means that you can use the Power1001 as an amplifier that can power a passive speaker. This will give you even more options and uses for this speaker while setting up sound for an outdoor venue, a club installation, outdoor or indoor home entertainment, or a live sound set-up. The woofer is 10" with a 3" voice coil and a 50 oz. Magnet! It boast a 1.375" tweeter voice coil with a titanium diaphragm. This will give you the power you need in a club and the dynamics you need to play any type of music and always achieve studio-quality sound.
The rugged ABS molded design will withstand the harshest of conditions indoors and outdoors. The 45Hz-20kHz frequency response will translate your music perfectly.
