A great solution for situations where microphone signals from an XLR source must feed the microphone input preamp of a bodypack transmitter. Not to be used as an output cable for bodypack receivers. The CM1 contains a DC voltage blocking capacitor to prevent damage to a microphone diaphragm. Bodypack transmitters do not supply 48V phantom power for condenser microphones.
