Description

The ProX MB-24 is a 24-inch mirror disco ball engineered for large clubs, ballrooms, event productions, theatrical staging, and high-profile installations where the mirror ball is a featured visual element. At 24 inches, the MB-24 produces a commanding reflection field that fills sizable rooms with brilliant beams of light and color.

The ball is built on a high-density Polystyrene foam (EPS) core, the professional industry standard for serious mirror ball manufacturing. EPS foam combines exceptional strength with very low weight, while its closed-cell structure provides outstanding dimensional stability. The ball will not warp under stage heat, will not absorb humidity, and will hold its true spherical shape across years of regular installation, touring, and storage cycles.

The exterior is covered with precision-cut high-grade glass mirror tiles measuring 13mm (1/2"), an upsized tile compared to smaller mirror balls that produces bigger, more dramatic individual reflections suited to the larger format of the MB-24. Each tile features a premium silvered backing that delivers maximum reflectivity, true color rendering, and crisp beam definition, produced to consistent thickness with clean square edges for tight uniform placement across the sphere. The mirror coating is sealed against tarnishing to keep its bright silver finish through years of demanding use. Each tile is applied individually with a premium high-strength industrial adhesive that locks tiles firmly in place through rotation, vibration, transport, and nightly performance use. ProX mirror balls use a denser tile pattern than traditional construction, generating significantly more reflective surface area and producing brighter, sharper beams of color across the room.

Through the center of the ball, a steel reinforcement rod runs the full vertical axis, anchored top and bottom by a heavy-duty removable O-ringand secured by an M10 nut for maximum mounting integrity. These mounting points provide secure, balanced hardware for rigging, hanging, and motor attachment. The MB-24 is compatible with the ProX X-MBM-2 (1 RPM) mirror ball motor (sold separately) and works as a universal replacement with any standard 1 RPM motor on the market.
