ProX 12" Mirror Disco Ball with 3/8" Glass Tiles

The ProX MB-12 is a 12-inch mirror disco ball that hits the sweet spot for mobile DJs, weddings, school dances, bars, party rentals, and small to medium clubs. Large enough to fill a room with brilliant reflections, yet light enough to set up quickly with a single motor and rigging point, the MB-12 is one of the most versatile sizes in the ProX mirror ball lineup.

The ball is constructed around a high-density Polystyrene foam (EPS) core, the professional standard for serious mirror ball construction. The closed-cell EPS structure delivers a rare combination of low weight, high rigidity, and long-term dimensional stability. It will not warp, sag, or deform under stage lighting heat, humidity changes, or repeated transport, allowing the ball to hold a perfectly true sphere shape across years of touring and event use.

The full exterior is finished with precision-cut high-grade glass mirror tiles measuring 10mm (3/8"), each featuring a premium silvered backingfor maximum reflectivity, true color clarity, and crisp beam definition. The tiles are manufactured to consistent thickness with clean square edges, allowing tight uniform placement across the sphere and producing a smooth continuous reflection surface free of dull spots or gaps. The mirror coating is sealed against tarnishing to keep its bright silver finish for years. Each tile is bonded with a professional-grade high-strength adhesive that grips securely through rotation, vibration, and transport, and ProX mirror balls use an increased tile count over traditional designs for denser, brighter reflections.

A steel reinforcement rod runs internally through the full vertical axis of the ball, anchored with a heavy-duty removable O-ring at the top and bottom and secured by an M10 nut for maximum mounting integrity. The MB-12 is engineered as a universal mirror ball, fully compatible with the ProX X-MBM-1 (3 RPM) mirror ball motor (sold separately) and any standard 3 RPM rotator on the market.
