Description
The DDJ-REV1 is built for DJs who want a scratch-focused controller with an accessible learning curve. Its layout is inspired by professional battle setups featuring two PLX-style turntables and a DJM-S series mixer configuration.
The horizontal 60 mm tempo sliders provide finer tempo control compared to shorter faders. Performance Pads are positioned in the mixer section, allowing you to combine scratching, effects, and sample triggering in a natural and efficient workflow.
The jog wheels are the same size as those found on the DDJ-SR2, offering improved control and a familiar feel for scratch techniques.
Lever FX allow you to apply Serato DJ Lite effects in two ways:
- Pull and hold for momentary bursts
- Push up to lock effects and keep your hands free
Tracking Scratch mode simplifies scratch routines by automatically returning the track to its cue point when you move the jog forward after a backward motion or release it. This removes the need to manually reset the fader and reposition the track.
The DDJ-REV1 also supports mixed microphone audio. When a microphone is connected, its sound is blended directly with the master output and sent into Serato DJ Lite. This makes it easier to add vocals or commentary during live streams without additional hardware.
With Scratch Bank mode, you can instantly load scratch samples from four assigned banks inside Serato DJ Lite or Serato DJ Pro.
