Description

The Shure KSM32C/HM is a large-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone designed for professional stage and recording applications where natural sound, isolation, and reliability are critical. Part of the refreshed KSM Studio Microphone line from Shure, the KSM32C/HM delivers transparent, controlled sound for vocals, instruments, drum overheads, and ensemble applications. It pairs proven KSM acoustics with modernized circuitry, a compact open-grille design, and a complete stage-ready accessory bundle that ensures dependable performance in demanding live and stage-adjacent environments.

Precision Capsule and Natural Sound

The KSM32C/HM features a precision-engineered 3/4" condenser capsule with an embossed Mylar diaphragm, delivering a smooth, balanced response, and exceptional low-frequency performance typically associated with larger 1" capsules. Its remarkably flat voicing captures the source without coloration or hype, allowing vocals and instruments to sound natural and sit easily in a mix with minimal EQ. The mic is powered by 48V phantom power from a preamp, mixer, or audio interface.

Exceptional Isolation and Control

A precisely tuned cardioid polar pattern provides exceptional off-axis rejection-up to 37 dB at 180°, helping to minimize bleed from surrounding instruments and room reflections. Combined with ultralow self-noise, the result is cleaner, more isolated capture that preserves detail and clarity, even in challenging live environments.

Compact, Durable Design for Stage Use

The compact, lightweight all-metal construction fits easily on crowded stages and boom stands where larger microphones may be impractical. A precision-machined steel grille highlights the gold-layered capsule while ensuring long-term durability for professional use.

Stage Kit Accessories Included

The Stage Kit includes a swivel hard mount for secure placement, a custom flocked foam windscreen to reduce plosives and light air movement, and a premium zippered carrying case for transport and protection. A threaded adapter is also included, providing a complete, stage-ready solution straight out of the case.
