The FM1 Instrument Microphone is a dynamic microphone designed for recording guitar cabinets and drums. The microphone’s flattened profile and supercardioid pickuppattern ensure clear recording, while the dynamic element can withstand high volumes without distorting, allowing you to record loudsources cleanly.
With a maximum SPL handling of 130 dB, the FM1 can handle very loud sound sources without breaking a sweat. The supercardioid focuses a tight capture pattern on your instrument, not only ensuring off-axis noises are rejected, but helping to greatly cut back on feedback in live applications. The mic sports a lightweight construction for hassle-free handling and reliable hanging mic techniques, which are popular for capturing amplified cabinets. The FM1 Flat Mic includes a mic clip.
