Neck-thru Construction - The Patented Riversong Neck System The patented Neck-thru technology on the Stylist Deluxe acoustic electric cutaway guitar offers many unique benefits including enhanced strength, intonation, and resonance. In addition, the Stylist Deluxe is easier to play than most guitars with the ability to make precise neck adjustments. Furthermore, variable top loading and balanced sustain, tone, and volume up and down the neck make this guitar a joy to play. Riversong's unique patented Neck-thru design also has a truss rod that runs the full length of the neck. Most traditional guitars have a truss rod that ends at the 14 th fret. Riversong necks have a full-length truss rod that adjusts the entire length similar to how an electric guitar is constructed. The patented neck system has a small amount of flex (like a Strat) and allows regular gauge strings to feel less stiff further enforcing our electric-like feel. The Riversong Active Body System Riversong’s innovative active body system for acoustic electric cutaway guitar works by moving the neck all the way through the body. This allows two important things to happen: The structure shifts from the neck joint to the end block The mass of the neck is now equal in and out of the guitar These unique design elements allow the guitar to vibrate like a tuning fork helping to ring up and down the neck and throughout the body. With the structure coming from the back of the guitar, the body and the neck have a little bit of flex. This flex gives the body the ability to vibrate freely and give the strings a slinky feel (low tension). Premium Features, Premium Tone The Stylist Deluxe acoustic electric cutaway guitar features a unique Canadian wood combination. It features a solid Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides with red wood binding in a high gloss finish. The maple neck has a satin finish. The Deluxe also features a Flex Series preamp with a Fishman body pickup. We integrated our patented Double Reaction bridge, which conducts sound to the top and under bridge plate simultaneously increasing overall volume by 10%. The Double Reaction bridge has a balanced mass encouraging increased resonant vibration. Strings D'Addario XT strings combine high-carbon steel cores with an advanced corrosion resistance treatment, providing break resistance, pitch stability, and long-lasting performance. All of these features preserve the tone and feel of your favorite uncoated strings. These are strings made to stay, with uncompromising performance that never fades away.
