Each VM-50 includes a Class D amplifier with 96 kHz sampling DSP for accurate, wide-bandwidth audio reproduction. A 4-mm-thick rigid aluminum front baffle reinforces the cabinet structure and suppresses unwanted resonance and vibration.

Low frequencies are driven by a newly developed aramid fiber woofer cone. These cones are 30% lighter than conventional paper-lined aramid designs, improving strength while delivering deeper and more controlled bass. The integrated Vortex Bass Accelerator uses ribbed bass reflex ports to maintain smooth airflow, helping reduce unwanted vibration and tighten low-end response.

Mid and high frequencies are delivered through a constant directivity horn. The horn and woofer edge are shaped to ensure a smooth crossover, producing a natural sound and a broad, uniform listening space.

All VM series speakers are voiced flat for accurate monitoring. To adapt to different room sizes and acoustics, the VM-50 includes rear-panel DSP controls.
