Description
An 80s classic returns with Peavey's re-release of the Adrian Vandenberg Signature Series. This modern take on an iconic guitar features a captivating purple flame maple top paired with a mahogany body and set-thru neck joint for rich sustain and resonance. The bound ebony fingerboard delivers smooth playability, while the Floyd Rose original tremolo bridge ensures precise tuning stability and expressive control. A dual-action truss rod allows easy adjustments, and the 24 ¾-inch scale with 15-inch neck radius contributes to excellent fretboard access. Dual Seymour Duncan pickups—TB-6 bridge and SH-6 neck—span from searing leads to nuanced cleans. The 3-way pickup selector and 2 master volume controls let you sculpt your sound with precision. Gold hardware and signature inlays complete the striking design. Adrian Vandenberg's journey from his Dutch band's 1982 emergence through his defining work with Whitesnake—including the 8x-platinum album and co-writing the platinum "Slip of the Tongue"—established him as a sought-after talent. His 1988 collaboration with Peavey created road-tested instruments that became highly coveted. Today, with Vandenberg's MoonKings and the reformed Vandenberg band's 2020 comeback, this re-release celebrates over 35 years of innovation and artistry.

Why We Like This
The pickup choice differs between the flame-maple and solid-color versions, so this is more than a finish decision. The dual volume controls make those pickup voices easier to balance at the instrument.
