The BCM 705 mt's hypercardioid polar pattern and close-speech-optimized dynamic capsule help to keep extraneous noises off the air, even if the sound-proofing is less than perfect. This model features a matte black finish that's visually unobtrusive while looking classy, making the microphone ideal for on-camera YouTubers—and, of course, for anyone who prefers their studio equipment in black.
Designed for speech reproduction at close range, the mic features an integrated pop screen and a frequency response that compensates for the overemphasis of the bass arising from the proximity effect. Both the capsule and the microphone are elastically suspended in order to provide protection from structure-borne noise and rumble. The foam pop screen protects the capsule from dirt, moisture, and nicotine. For increased hygiene, the head grille twists off easily for quick cleaning.
