Description

The MON 12 A G3 W is part of an entirely newly developed family of powered stage monitors for high performance. The MON G3 Series incorporates the advanced technology and premium materials found in high-end monitors typically rented by professionals, making this quality available to everyone. These include, for example, advanced coaxial loudspeakers with integrated 50° x 90° CD horn, which ensure the acoustic ideal of a true point source and thus outstanding audio characteristics even at short listening distances. Besides this, the series offers a high-level of robustness, a comprehensive set of features and the elegant LD Systems design.

For decades, 12"/1" stage monitors have been the golden mean when it comes to sonority, sound pressure and portability. With coaxial design, smart electronics and a professional look, the MON 12 A G3 W brings this concept into the "modern age". The ideal dispersion geometry of 50° x 90° for monitor use or 90° x 50° for FOH use make it a multi-talent that offers the right solution for a wealth of different tasks.

Both the signal (XLR/jack combo) and the power connection (PowerCON compatible) can be looped through. This allows for elegant, tidy cabling in multi-monitor set-ups or for distributed sound reinforcement.

Highly Efficient Power Amplifier

The highly efficient Class-D power amp delivers 300W RMS. The peak power of 1200W, which can be called up at short notice, guarantees a dynamic, assertive sound image.

Easy Daisy-Chaining

The next monitor can be supplied with power via a second powerCON compatible connection. Thanks to the two XLR outputs, you can also daisy-chain the audio signal to a neighboring stage monitor.

Robust Construction

Heavy-duty birch plywood

The enclosures are made of heavy-duty 15mm birch plywood and coated with durable polyurea. Thus, they reliably withstand many years of hard use on the road

Steel front grille

The extra-strong, torsion-resistant steel grilles effectively protect the speakers

Two die-cast aluminum handles

The two cast aluminum handles, homogeneously integrated into the overall appearance, enable the best possible handling onstage

Recessed connections

The connections and controllers are recessed in steel trays and are thus optimally protected against damage

Noiseless heat sink

An elegantly designed heat sink on the back of the monitor provides fanless and thus noiseless cooling of the power electronics
