JBL Control 68HP 8" Two-Way Pendant Loudspeaker (Pair, Black)

Aimed at retail spaces, hotels, casinos, convention centers, exhibit and museum spaces, atriums, public transit locations, or any space with high ceilings and an open architectural style, the black Control 68HP from JBL is a dependable and very-high output pendant speaker with a coaxial two-way configuration, sporting an 8" composite-reinforced cone woofer and a 1" titanium dome compression driver for extremely potent sound. With a wide, consistent coverage of 110° and an innovative single-point suspension system that uses two galvanized steel cables for secure hanging and easy height adjustment, you can achieve an optimal sound in even the most reverberant and challenging of acoustical spaces.

The Control 68HP can handle plenty of power, with support for up to a peak power input of 1000W, and sports a 68W multitap transformer for supporting 70 or 100V distribution modes as well as direct 8-ohm operation. The IP44 weather rating ensures safe use in controlled outdoor environments where excessive moisture, dirt, and salt may damage lesser speakers. The suspension system is exceptionally reliable, and this speaker includes two 15' steel cables (one for the primary support and one for the safety backup), spring clips and Gripple-brand adjustable height cable fasteners for attaching to the speaker bracket, and two 2-pin Euroblock connectors, along with two rubber connector boots for covered exterior environments.
