Description
The JBL Control 412C/T, part of the Control 400 Standard Coverage Series, is a full-range ceiling loudspeaker, featuring a 3” driver and an integrated enclosure that is ideal for installation in most ceiling plenum spaces.
All Control 400 Series models are designed to blend seamlessly into modern interiors. The included full-face magnetic grille is paintable for integration into any decor, while available black round and white square grilles provide added customization.
The Control 412C/T includes thoughtfully engineered installation features to enhance safety, efficiency, and repeatability. The terminal cover allows for convenient top or side cable entry and the reliable captive dogear design accommodates a variety of ceiling thicknesses, ensuring versatility for any environment. Additionally, the Control 412C/T supports both 70V/100V and low impedance applications.
Features
Full-Range Driver Design
This full-range ceiling speaker consists of a 3" wide-bandwidth cone driver mounted in a ported baffle, with a pre-attached backcan for quick and easy installation. The Control 412C/T is designed to provide exceptional sound quality for a wide range of low to medium volume applications such as music café’s, business music systems, retail stores, music/paging systems, airports, reception/waiting rooms, lounges, courtrooms, convention centers, hotels, educational facilities, and more. The premium performance capability ensures excellent sound character, providing pleasant, enveloping sound throughout the listening space
Direct Drive or Distributed Configurations
The 8-ohm impedance allows paralleling up to 2 speakers on a 4-ohm capable amplifier. For distributed systems, the UL-registered transformer is designed for exceptionally low saturation, even at high drive levels, providing a top-quality, low-distortion distributed sound character.
Easy and Reliable Installation
The stylish bezel-less grille fits seamlessly into a variety of architectural aesthetics. The integrated backcan on the Control 412C/T combined with the C-ring support backing plate allows for quick and easy installation of the unit.
The included white grille is paintable (grille backing is removable and re-applicable for painting), and optional accessory grilles are available in black and in square shape. The Control 412C/T is UL 1480A and UL 2043 listed.
