The black pair of 2-way, 5.25" JBL Control 25-1L Loudspeakers are designed for background or foreground applications. Featuring weather-protected circuitry, the Control 25-1L can be used indoors or outdoors and are well suited for retail stores, restaurants, health clubs, theme parks, educational facilities, hospitality, music cafes, leisure venues, and anywhere where high-quality, high-output indoor/outdoor foreground/background music (and/or paging) speakers are required. The speakers feature JBL's proprietary InvisiBall mounting hardware, which allows for installation through a hidden access point behind its logo badge.
The Control 25-1L require 100W (200W program) at 8 Ohms to power the 5.25" woven fiberglass woofer and 3/4" PEI diaphragm tweeter, which combine for a frequency response of 85 Hz to 17 kHz and a max SPL of 116 dB peak. Connections to the speaker are screw-down terminal strips with a zinc-plated copper and nickel-plated metal screws and washers. The JBL Control 25-1L includes the InvisiBall wall-mounting system and a hex key.
