Description
The AC26N Digital Audio Controller for Loudspeakers Processing from dB Technologies allows you to control professional audio systems and is designed for both fixed and touring installations. Thanks to its high-quality converters, powerful processing, and compatibility with the RDNet remote control protocol, the AC26N Controller is an extremely versatile tool. It allows you to manage (in real-time) active and passive systems, or act as a matrix for a loudspeaker system managing & solving tons of issues typical of live music applications. It uses the 28/56-bit processor and high performance 24-bit/96 kHz AD/DA converter.
The available functions include input and output levels, delay, polarity, 12 equalization bands for each input and output channel, multiple crossover, and high-performance limiter/compressor. The control resolution of the filters is 1 Hz, and inputs and outputs can be set according to many configurations to meet different needs. The AC26N Controller can be controlled in real time, and all its parameters can be edited on its front panel or through a computer, thanks to the intuitive graphic interface of the DVA Network software and a dedicated RDNet or USB network connection.
The CPU and DSP software updates are done via PC. They keep the device up-to-date, and make it possible to save and recall 32 preset configurations. The unit can also be remotely controlled using PC-based software. Communication can be performed using a USB cable or connecting the AC26N Controller into complex RDNet networks via Control 2 or Control 8 RDNet Hub. This proprietary communication protocol has been developed for receiving and sending data, and allows for real-time monitoring of loudspeaker parameters such as output power, amp temperature, limiter status, and more. The controller also allows you to select different equalizations or create new ones, including the ability to set the desired volume levels using the specific plug-in.
