Description
The Allen & Heath gigaAce is an audio networking card that can be fitted to the I/O port on an Allen & Heath dLive or Avantis mixer. It provides a 128 x 128 channel 96 kHz gigaACE point-to-point link to another dLive or Avantis mixing system as well as the DX Hub and GX4816 expander.
gigaACE provides Audio and Control over Ethernet using standard CAT cables. It allows very low latency and cable redundancy without any audio dropout. gigaACE can also tunnel the dLive/Avantis TCP/IP control network over the same connection, for example to enable control of either of the two systems by a single laptop. The card offers simple plug-and-play operation. Simply install the card, plug in a cable between any two dLive/Avantis systems and set the patch and clock settings directly on the mixer (no computer required).
