Description

Designed for today's content creators and home recordists, the AKG C104 is a cardioid large-diaphragm condenser microphone featuring a transformerless FET circuit for exceptional clarity and low noise. With a nickel-sputtered 22mm diaphragm, this microphone is capable of handling an exceptionally high max SPL of 143 dB without distortion, allowing for a wide range of applications.

The C104 offers a high headroom and low noise floor for a very large dynamic range, allowing you to get excellent results on everything from electric guitar amps to quiet speech. The body makes a striking on-screen impression and is constructed entirely from recycled PIR metals and alloys. Further supporting it's environmentally friendly design, the C104's accessories and packaging are also engineered for minimal environmental impact. The C104 includes a mic stand adapter.

Nickle-Sputtered Diaphragm

The diaphragm is made of a plastic foil that is nickel sputtered on one side to prevent shorting to the back electrode, even at extremely high sound pressure levels.

High Headroom, Minimal Distortion

Capable of handling sound pressure levels up to 143 dB without introducing perceptible distortion, the microphone will give excellent results in a wide range of applications.
