Description

Designed to be an all-in-one lighting control solution, the MagicQ MQ500+ Stadium Console from ChamSys supports 400 universes of DMX direct from the console without the need for external processing. With the ability to expand screen real estate via two Display Port++ external monitor ports, Wi-Fi connections for remote focus applications, and a 4-port gigabit network switch, the console for ease of use. Featuring RGB-illuminated fader and encoder playbacks with 15 fully motorized fader playbacks, 15 encoder playbacks, and 12 backlit multi-purpose keys to provide 42 total playbacks. This console, compatible with other MagicQ consoles, features two 15" HD displays with adjustable viewing angles and multi-reach support, offers an intuitive workflow that also supports up to eight touch displays and dual motorized theater crossfaders. Designed for live events and touring, lighting designers can use the four DMX ports, 204,800 DMX channels, intensity wheel, and split crossfaders offer precise lighting control. This console includes a flight case to easily transport the device to different venues.

400 DMX Universes

The MQ500M+ features expansive DMX control options with 400 universes of DMX available directly through the network ports on the rear of the console that support industry-standard lighting protocols, including sACN, Art-Net, and Pathport, without the need for additional processing nodes or other hardware.

Motorization

With extensive motorized functions, the MQ500M+'s playback section is multi-purpose with shortcut buttons to change and customize its function. The console features 15 motorized faders and 15 playback encoders per bank. With the ability to use up to 6 banks, the MQ500M+ can access up to 180 playbacks with a simple click. The dual 100mm crossfade faders are also fully motorized and provide ultimate theater controls with their intuitive "go" and "back" buttons.

Playback Encoder Capabilities

Designed with 15 playback encoders, the MQ6500M+ offers ample live operation options. A multitude of different functions can be assigned to each playback encoder with full legending directly above the display for ease of use. Use the playback encoders to control lighting intensity, LTP channels, FX size, and speed as well as rate and time, for greater control during live performances and broadcasts. Each playback encoder can control their own cue stacks, connect to the fader playback, control an entire bank or page of playbacks for precise control options. Backlit with RGB-colored lights, each encoder is simple to see and can clearly indicate each function.

Customization Options

Lighting designers can customize the MQ500M+ with its ability to assign RGB colors to backlight specific keys, updated graphics, and options to select customize standard functions. Users can customize each cue stack individually and visibly configure the console for each individual's needs for seamless workflow integration.

Configuration and Compatibility

Built with MQ500 software, the MQ500M+ is fully compatible with the MQ500M, MQ500, and other ChamSys consoles for seamless integration and movement between devices. The MQ500M+'s show files are both forward and backward and can be used with any available version of software. Add up to four extra touch monitors to the console for intuitive usage and additional ways to display more information. Up to 48 window layouts can be programmed to enable switching views across several different monitors, and specific windows can be assigned to particular monitors with the console's powerful layout masking capabilities.

Save Time on Site

The console features a built-in MagicVis3D visualizer with a high-quality beam and gobo rendering. Ideal for saving time at the venue, this visualizer allows for lighting designers to pre-program shows offline.
